In preparation for their upcoming preseason game, the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks engaged in joint practices this week in Nashville. On Wednesday, the two teams took the field for their first session together.

The practice commenced with individual stretching and position drills for both teams. Following this, the teams engaged in 1-on-1 drills featuring wide receivers and defensive backs. The Titans offense faced off against the Seahawks defense on one field, while the Titans defense challenged the Seahawks offense on another. After a series of team periods on both fields, the teams moved into 7-on-7 drills with offensive linemen battling defensive linemen. This was followed by special teams work that included field goal attempts and punting drills. A hydration break preceded additional team periods with a focus on second and third down scenarios. Practice concluded with an unscripted "Move the Ball" period on both fields.

In terms of injuries, the Titans reported no significant issues during Wednesday's session. Head coach Brian Callahan mentioned that several players experienced cramping, including receiver Treylon Burks towards the end of the session. Burks briefly left the field with trainers but returned for an interview with 104.5 The Zone after practice, signifying he was not seriously injured. Tackle JC Latham also experienced cramping but managed to finish the practice.

During the session, the focus was primarily on the Titans' offensive performance. However, the reporter made an effort to observe both teams from a vantage point between the two fields. The notes reflect a greater emphasis on the offensive side of the ball due to the better viewpoint from that position.

Quarterback Will Levis showcased his skills by completing 15 of 22 passes during the team periods and 4 of 5 in the 7-on-7 work, resulting in a total of 19 successful passes out of 27 attempts for the day. Levis took risks on several deep balls but did not connect. In the first nine training camp practices of the Titans, Levis had completed 106 out of 150 passes with five interceptions during the 7-on-7 and team periods combined.

Quarterback Mason Rudolph demonstrated efficiency by completing 13 of 16 passes during the team work and 4 of 4 in the 7-on-7 drills, resulting in a total of 17 successful passes out of 20 attempts for the day. Rudolph converted several of his shorter passes into significant gains for the Titans. In the first nine training camp practices of the Titans, Rudolph had completed 82 out of 98 passes with two interceptions during the 7-on-7 and team drills combined.

Quarterback Malik Willis showcased his abilities by completing 8 of 13 passes during the team work and 2 of 3 in the 7-on-7 drills, resulting in a total of 10 successful passes out of 16 attempts for the day. In the first nine training camp practices of the Titans, Willis had completed 61 out of 93 passes with three interceptions during the 7-on-7 and team work combined.

Rookie receiver Jha'Quan Jackson stood out offensively with his impressive performances. Jackson caught a short pass from Rudolph during the 7-on-7 period and turned it into a would-be touchdown. Later in a team period, Jackson once again showcased his speed by catching a pass from Rudolph and outpacing everyone to score a 70-yard touchdown. Jackson finished the day with three catches, not including a 1-on-1 period where he made several plays.

Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons displayed his dominance throughout the practice, consistently disrupting the Seahawks' offensive line. Simmons made several impressive rushes into the backfield that would have resulted in sacks during actual games. His confident voice could be heard from afar as he challenged the Seattle sideline about the o-lineman trying to block him: "Get that man some help! He can't block me!"

The Titans struggled to contain Seattle receiver DK Metcalf, who found openings and made numerous catches during the session. Defensive back Eric Garror recorded an interception on a deflected pass, which appeared to be a Pick-6 as he raced towards the opposite end zone. Garror was also observed on a blitz that would have resulted in a sack during a game scenario.

Running back Tyjae Spears showcased his skills with a few impressive runs and caught four passes during the practice. Spears took a hard hit from Seattle's Ty Okada after making one catch but managed to continue playing. Running back Tony Pollard also had a notable run during the practice.

Receiver Treylon Burks opened the practice with a long catch during the 1-on-1 period and made several challenging catches throughout the session. However, Burks appeared to lose possession of the ball after one catch, which would have resulted in a fumble during a game situation. Burks slowed down on a deep ball later in the practice, eventually leaving the field with trainers due to cramping. Thankfully, reports confirmed that it was only cramping, easing the concerns of Titans fans.

Receiver Kyle Philips excelled during the 1-on-1 drills. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught four passes during the 7-on-7 and team drills combined. Tight end Josh Whyle led the team with five catches on the day and was involved in a few physical encounters following some of his receptions. Tight end Nick Vannett recorded four catches, matching his total from the first nine practices of camp. Edge rusher Rashad Weaver made several impressive rushes during a team period, including one where he knocked down a Geno Smith pass. Linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. stood out by stuffing the run on multiple occasions.

Receiver Calvin Ridley had a challenging day, dropping one pass and being overthrown on a couple of deep balls by Levis after getting open downfield. Receiver Bryce Oliver showcased his abilities with a high catch across the middle and made several other plays during the practice. Receiver Mason Kinsey made an aggressive play on special teams that caught the attention of his teammates.

Kicker Nick Folk maintained his perfect record by converting all six field goal attempts during a field goal period. Folk has now successfully made 26 out of 28 field goal attempts during camp. Kicker Brayden Narveson completed 15 out of 19 field goal attempts during camp.
