Taylor Swift found herself at the center of attention during her recent performance in Edinburgh, Scotland, as videos surfaced of her dealing with a case of the sniffles in freezing temperatures. The pop star's actions, which included wiping her nose on her costumes and even licking her snot while playing the piano, elicited a range of reactions from fans.

In videos shared by fans on social media, Swift was seen visibly wiping her nose as she took to the stage in chilly weather, with temperatures reported to be between 48 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit (9 and 10 degrees Celsius). To the surprise of onlookers, the singer was then spotted wiping her hand on her attire, leaving snot visible on her fingers.

During another sold-out performance at Murrayfield Stadium, Swift was captured wiping her nose and using her hand to clean off on her red-and-black jumpsuit, all while singing her hit song "Don't Blame Me." Some fans expressed concern, suggesting that the singer should have had tissues on hand for such situations.

Swift's unconventional approach to dealing with a runny nose prompted mixed reactions from fans. While some criticized her actions as unhygienic and called for privacy, others came to her defense, stating that it humanized her and that everyone goes through such situations when lacking access to tissues.

The adverse weather conditions also forced Swift to make a quick wardrobe change during the show. The 34-year-old singer added a pair of short black gloves to her Vivian Westwood gown, citing that her hands were "frozen" due to the frigid temperatures. Swift apologized to the audience for the unexpected hand cramp and provided a moment of levity by massaging her palm and joking about her hand turning into a claw.

Despite the backlash and the weather-induced hurdles, Swift is set to continue her Eras Tour and is scheduled to perform in Liverpool, England, on Thursday night. The highly anticipated tour showcases songs from her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department."

Swift's fans will undoubtedly be watching closely at her upcoming performances, curious to see if the cold-weather sniffles continue or if she takes precautions to avoid a similar situation.
