Pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce flew out of Kansas City, Missouri on Friday afternoon, following a private party held to celebrate the Chiefs' win. According to sources, the couple is heading to New York City, where Swift owns one of her main residences.
Kelce was spotted dressed casually in black gym shorts, a blue T-shirt, and a black zip-up jacket. He completed his look with black sneakers and a baseball cap. Meanwhile, Swift turned heads with her stylish outfit at the game, wearing denim shorts paired with a Versace corset top and red thigh-high boots, accessorized with $60,000 worth of jewelry.
The weekend getaway comes after Swift and Kelce partied with his teammates at the rooftop cocktail lounge, Prime Social, to celebrate the Chiefs' first victory of the 2024-2025 NFL season. Witnesses observed the couple holding hands as they left the game and headed to the afterparty.
During the game, Swift enjoyed watching Kelce and the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 from a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium. She even shared a lighthearted chat with Kelce's father, Ed Kelce, before kickoff and gave a warm hug to his mother, Donna Kelce, after Kelce made a 23-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Fans of Swift, known as "Swifties," were excited by her fashion choices at the game. Some speculated that her red thigh-high boots could be a hint at the release of "Reputation: Taylor's Version," as they bore a resemblance to the ones she wore in her 2017 music video for "Look What You Made Me Do."
The couple's relationship has been going strong since they began dating in July 2023, and they went public in September of that year when Swift attended her first Chiefs game. Swift has been a dedicated supporter, attending 13 of Kelce's games last season, while he made special efforts to catch her on several stops of her Eras Tour, even surprising fans in June when he joined her on stage during a London concert.
Sources close to the couple revealed their plans to get engaged "soon," and it was confirmed earlier this year that Kelce sought permission from Swift's father, Scott, to marry her.
As Swift and Kelce embark on their New York City getaway, fans eagerly await more updates from this power couple who seem to have found love both on and off the field.
