The Pittsburgh Steelers clinched a 20-10 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, thanks to a stellar performance by quarterback Justin Fields. Fields, in just his second start, showcased his ability by completing 25 of 32 passes for 245 yards, including a crucial 55-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Austin III in the fourth quarter that extended the Steelers' lead to 10 points. Despite a minor setback with his first turnover of the season, Fields displayed remarkable growth by rebounding strongly and leading the offense effectively in the final quarter and a half.

Running back Najee Harris played a significant role in the Steelers' rushing attack, gaining 67 of his 70 rushing yards in the second half. Harris, along with Cordarrelle Patterson, helped the Steelers establish dominance on the ground in the fourth quarter, combining for crucial yards that allowed them to control the game's tempo and secure the win. While the running game initially struggled in the first half, the Steelers showcased their ability to finish games with authority, a promising sign for the team moving forward.

Wide receiver Calvin Austin III emerged as a key contributor for the Steelers, amassing 95 yards on four receptions during the game. Stepping into a more prominent role due to an injury to Van Jefferson, Austin made several impactful plays, including the pivotal touchdown catch that helped seal the victory for Pittsburgh. The Steelers' receiving corps, which included eight players recording receptions, provided ample support for Fields, with George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth also making notable contributions despite the need for increased tight end production in the upcoming games.
