**Steelers Acquire Edge Rusher Preston Smith from Packers**

Smith's college career at Mississippi State showcased his significant talents. As a senior, he earned recognition for his outstanding performance, being named First-Team All-SEC by SEC coaches and Second-Team All-SEC by the Associated Press. Smith's senior year statistics were remarkable, including 48 total tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, nine sacks, two interceptions, five forced fumbles, and two blocked kicks.

Drafted by Washington in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Smith has demonstrated incredible durability and consistency throughout his NFL career. Over ten seasons, he's missed just one game, illustrating his commitment to maintaining his physical health. "My body is my investment," Smith stated in an interview. His dedication has paid off, as he remains a key player even at the age of nearly 32.
