### Cowboys' Elliott Benched for Disciplinary Reasons, Dalvin Cook Elevated for Falcons Game

The Dallas Cowboys are set to face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday without their star running back, Ezekiel Elliott. According to Todd Archer of ESPN, Elliott will be inactive and won't travel with the team due to disciplinary issues.

Following his re-signing in the offseason, Elliott has contributed significantly to the Cowboys' offense. He has rushed for 149 yards on 48 carries, scoring two touchdowns, and has also caught seven passes, adding 40 receiving yards to his stats.

In Elliott's absence, the Cowboys have promoted running back Dalvin Cook. Cook, who had a modest performance last week with six carries for 12 yards and one 10-yard reception in the loss to San Francisco, is expected to see an increased workload against the Falcons.

Additionally, Dallas has elevated cornerback Josh Butler from the practice squad to bolster their defensive options for the upcoming game. The team will be looking to adjust and perform well despite the absence of one of their key players.
