**Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Faces Technical Issues on Release, Developer Pledges Timely Fixes**
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, developed by GSC Game World, has finally launched for Xbox and PC platforms. However, the much-anticipated sequel is already facing numerous technical problems that have left some fans disappointed. Eurogamer has yet to publish a review of the game, partly due to these initial hiccups.
In response, GSC Game World took to social media platform X to acknowledge the situation, admitting that the game "may" exhibit some "rough edges" now that it's available to the public. Despite these early setbacks, the developer has assured players that it is committed to addressing these issues promptly.
"We are absolutely committed to being here, monitoring your feedback and quickly fixing any issues that need our attention," the team stated. They elaborated that over the first few days after release, they would prioritize deploying hotfixes, aiming to make these updates as precise and frequent as necessary.
Beyond immediate fixes, GSC Game World also plans to release more substantial updates and free in-game content in the future. The studio mentioned that more details regarding the game's roadmap would be shared in December, urging fans to stay tuned.
"We have big plans for the Stalker universe. In a way, today is both a return and the beginning of a grand new journey," the statement concluded. "We're blessed to have you before, we're blessed to have you now. The Zone belongs to you. Have fun."
