**Shohei Ohtani Cleared to Play in Game 3 Despite Shoulder Injury Scare**

Los Angeles Dodgers' designated hitter, Shohei Ohtani, has been given the green light to participate in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night after an injury scare. Despite concerns following an incident in their recent victory over the New York Yankees, Ohtani will be back on the field, reassuring fans and the team alike.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed via text to ESPN's Karl Ravech that Ohtani "is in a great spot" and ready to play. The injury occurred during an attempted steal of second base in Saturday’s game, which the Dodgers won 4-2. Ohtani, who has not missed a game this season due to injury, appeared to have a subluxation of his left shoulder when he was tagged out, ending the seventh inning.

The Japanese star lay on the ground holding his left arm and took a while to get up, causing considerable concern. However, post-game strength and range-of-motion tests yielded positive results, cooling the initial panic.

The Dodgers, bolstered by their 2-0 series lead against the Yankees, flew to New York late Saturday night. Meanwhile, Ohtani remained in Los Angeles for further examination before joining his team in New York for the crucial upcoming games. The series will continue at Yankee Stadium with games scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, and if necessary, a fifth game on Wednesday.

Ohtani’s quick return is a significant boost for the Dodgers as they aim to maintain their lead and ultimately clinch the World Series title.
