### New MacBook Pro with M4 Chip Rumored for Launch Before End of October

Reports have surfaced suggesting that Apple is gearing up to release a fresh iteration of the MacBook Pro, speculated to incorporate the new M4 chip, before October concludes. Supply chain whispers hint at a possible surprise drop or a dedicated October event to showcase this latest product, similar to last year's cycle.

According to information from Digitimes, Mac assembler Compaq ramped up its production significantly in September. This heightened activity aligns with increased earnings reported by component suppliers Jarllytec and Shin Zu Shing, indicating that Apple is possibly preparing for an imminent launch. The rising orders from these suppliers strongly suggest that the tech giant is bolstering its supply chain in anticipation of the new MacBook Pro's arrival.

The previous MacBook Pro debuted during Apple's Scary Fast event in October of last year, making this timeline plausible for another October release. Recent leaks of what appears to be a MacBook Pro packaging lend further credibility to these rumors, with many speculating that the device's specs will be closely aligned with the leaked information.

If the leaked specifications hold true, the 2024 MacBook Pro is expected to feature the M4 chip, boasting a 10-core CPU and GPU. Additionally, it will likely come with 16GB of RAM, which is a significant improvement from the current model's 8GB, and at least 512GB of storage, potentially more depending on the configuration. The inclusion of three Thunderbolt 4 ports is also anticipated.

While excitement grows around these potential upgrades, it's essential to wait for an official announcement from Apple to confirm these details. Nevertheless, the rumored specifications point towards a robust and powerful addition to the MacBook Pro lineup, reinforcing its "Pro" status.
