### Top NFL Rookies Shine After Week 10
As the NFL season progresses past Week 10, the performance of the league's rookies continues to draw attention. Despite varying individual matchups and team dynamics, several first-year players have solidified their positions as top performers.
Leading the rookie cohort is quarterback Jayden Daniels, who, even with his least impressive game to date against the Pittsburgh Steelers, maintains a remarkable standing. Daniels is currently the third-highest-graded quarterback in the NFL with an overall Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade of 87.2. The second overall draft pick’s consistency is showcased by his less than 60.0 grading in just one game and a commendable 1.4% turnover-worthy play rate, paralleling seasoned professional Lamar Jackson.
Edge defender Jared Verse of the Rams lived up to his pre-season hype, displaying stellar capability in the Monday Night Football face-off against the Miami Dolphins. Verse recorded a sensational play featuring a sack, forced fumble, and fumble recovery. His season statistics include 44 total pressures across 236 pass-rushing snaps and an 82.5 PFF pass-rushing grade, reinforcing his strong performance with an 86.9 overall grade.
Tight end Bowers, while on a bye week with the Raiders, maintains a second-highest NFL grade among tight ends (86.7), second only to George Kittle. Bowers has accumulated an impressive 580 receiving yards, leading all players in his position so far this season.
Phillips, the cornerback with the third-highest NFL coverage grade, excelled in Munich against the Panthers. Allowing only three receptions on 22 coverage snaps and totaling just 6 yards conceded, Phillips' overall defensive play, including four stops, resulted in an 84.6 PFF grade for the season.
In a loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Buccaneers' running back Irving showcased his skills by achieving 73 yards on 13 carries, marking a 5.6-yard average per carry. Irving's performance over the season has earned him an 81.9 PFF rushing grade, bolstered by 30 missed tackles forced from 96 carries.
Defensive back DeJean has not only led all rookies but also all players at his position with an outstanding PFF coverage grade of 83.6. Allowing an average of merely 6.4 yards per catch and no touchdowns in coverage, DeJean has successfully defended two passes this season.
Wide receiver Malik Nabers, recovering from an injury, has reliably contributed to the Giants' offense, averaging 2.03 yards per route run. He has been targeted at least ten times in six out of eight games this season, earning him a PFF grade of 80.9.
Cardinals' Harrison saw a notable performance against the Jets by securing all five of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown, resulting in an average of 1.90 yards per route run this season. His ability to win 50% of contested targets cements his reputation as a reliable target.
Finally, offensive lineman Puni stands out as the highest-graded rookie in his field with a PFF grade of 78.8. Over 350 pass-blocking snaps, Puni has admirably conceded only 16 pressures without surrendering a sack or quarterback hit, alongside a solid run-blocking grade of 76.5.
As the season unfolds, these rookies are proving their worth and demonstrating why they were high picks in the NFL draft with remarkable plays and consistent performances week after week.
