Paul Teal, former star of the popular television series "One Tree Hill," has died at the age of 35, according to reports from his representatives and fiancée, Emilia Torello.

Torello shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, expressing her profound grief and love for Teal. "Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock, and my future," she wrote. "You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my heart with love. You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail."

Teal succumbed to stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer on Friday, a mere seven months after being diagnosed. In her emotional tribute, Torello vowed to honor his memory by finding joy in life, just as he fought to live each day bravely.

Teal gained fame for his portrayal of Josh Avery, a closeted actor, in season 7 of "One Tree Hill" in 2010. Fellow cast members fondly remembered him in their tributes. Jana Kramer, who played Teal's onscreen girlfriend Alex, expressed her condolences on Instagram, praising Teal's kindness and the fun she had working with him. Sophia Bush, another co-star, shared her sadness and recognition of Teal's talent.

Beyond "One Tree Hill," Teal showcased his acting skills in various projects. His credits included films like "Deep Water" alongside Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, as well as "Fear Street: Part Two - 1978." He also appeared in numerous television series, such as "Dynasty," "The Walking Dead: World Beyond," "Outer Banks," "George & Tammy," "Good Behavior," and "The Staircase."

Teal was set to appear in upcoming projects, including "Lilly" with Patricia Clarkson and the Starz television series "The Hunting Wives," as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
