The fatal crash occurred on Saturday night on Interstate 20 near Edwards, Mississippi. It involved three cars and two 18-wheelers, according to FOX 40 Jackson. Sadly, Brumley was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
During his playing career, Brumley made his Major League debut with the Chicago Cubs in 1987. He went on to play for various teams including the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, Oakland Athletics, and the Mariners until the 1995 season. Throughout his career, Brumley hit .206.
