Jax Taylor Speaks Out on Separation From Brittany Cartwright

In a surprising turn of events, reality TV star Jax Taylor has broken his silence on his separation from wife Brittany Cartwright. Just hours after Cartwright revealed that they were living separately, Taylor shared some insight into their current living arrangement.

In a video interview with Page Six on February 29, Taylor clarified that they were actually still living together in their shared home. He explained that although Cartwright had temporarily moved out for a while, she is now back and they are trying to figure things out.

The couple, who got married in 2019 after four years of dating, is facing a challenging time in their 10-year marriage. However, Taylor emphasized that their situation wasn't filled with "evil nastiness," but rather two people at a crossroads in their relationship.

Taylor and Cartwright have a three-year-old son named Cruz, and they are determined to make decisions that are in the best interest of their child. While Cartwright expressed a focus on her mental health in her podcast, Taylor shared that they are not getting a divorce but rather taking some time apart.

Their separation comes just before the premiere of their new Bravo series, "The Valley," which is set to air on March 19. Fans might have the opportunity to gain some insight into the factors that contributed to their marriage breakdown.

Throughout their relationship, Taylor and Cartwright have had their ups and downs. They first met in 2015 while on vacation in Las Vegas and eventually joined the cast of "Vanderpump Rules" together. Their journey was documented in their own spinoff show, "Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky," which aired in 2017.

Despite a brief breakup in 2017 due to Taylor's infidelity, they reconciled and got engaged in June 2018. The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony at a Kentucky Castle in June 2020. They announced their pregnancy in September of the same year and welcomed their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April 2021.

In December 2020, Taylor and Cartwright announced that they would not be returning for another season of "Vanderpump Rules," as they wanted to focus on their growing family and pursue new endeavors.

Now, with their separation, Taylor and Cartwright are facing an uncertain future. However, they are determined to prioritize their son's well-being and find the best resolution for their family. Only time will tell what lies ahead for this once-happy couple.
