**Ravens Close In on Historic Rushing Record**

In 2021, the Baltimore Ravens made headlines by tying the all-time NFL record for consecutive games with 100 or more rushing yards. By making this bold move, the Ravens stirred controversy with former Broncos coach Vic Fangio, as they chose to pursue the record rather than simply running out the clock. Though their streak ended the following week, the Ravens and the Steelers remain tied at 43 consecutive games.

Once again, the Ravens find themselves within striking distance of making history. Their current streak stands at 37 games, just six short of tying their own record of 43. If the Ravens manage to reach this milestone, their opportunity to set a new record will intriguingly take place against Pittsburgh, their historical rival.

The last time Baltimore failed to rush for 100 yards in a game was during Week 1 of the 2022 season, when they were held to just 63 yards on 21 attempts by the New York Jets. Interestingly, the Ravens still emerged victorious in that contest with a 24-9 win.

Adding another potential accolade, the Ravens could become the fifth team in NFL history to amass 1,000 rushing yards in the first five games of a season. They need just 119 yards to achieve this. Furthermore, if they manage to gain 150 yards, they will surpass the 1983 Steelers, placing fourth on the all-time team rushing list for the first five games of a season.

As the Ravens march toward potential records, all eyes will be on their rushing game in the weeks to come.
