The Baltimore Ravens are setting their sights on bolstering their running back group in the upcoming NFL Draft, according to General Manager Eric DeCosta. Despite already acquiring star running back Derrick Henry in free agency, the Ravens are looking to add depth and talent to their backfield, with a particular focus on Day 3 prospects.

DeCosta expressed that while there may not be any top-tier, first-round talents available this year, there are numerous intriguing prospects in the second, third, and fourth rounds. The Ravens have closely analyzed several running backs who could potentially make an impact and contribute to their offensive scheme.

Among the draft prospects who are on the Ravens' radar is bruising runner Allen, who stands at an imposing 6-foot and weighs 235 pounds. Known for his ability to break tackles and pick up tough yards, Allen has consistently found the end zone, scoring at least 11 rushing touchdowns in each of his three college seasons. With the acquisition of Henry, the Ravens may feel less pressure to select Allen, but he could still be a valuable addition to provide relief for the star running back.

Another running back catching the attention of the Ravens is Benson, who stands 6-foot tall and weighs 216 pounds. Benson's powerful running style and low center of gravity make him a difficult player for defenders to bring down. Additionally, he boasts an impressive pass-blocking grade, indicating his versatility in the offense. After overcoming a significant knee injury during his freshman year, Benson has proven his abilities, rushing for over 900 yards in each of the past two seasons.

Brooks, a running back who combines power and elusive moves, has also caught the Ravens' attention. Despite suffering a season-ending torn ACL in November, Brooks is expected to be ready for training camp after starting his running regimen in February. His explosiveness and ability to make defenders miss would provide the Ravens with another talented young back.

Corum, who showcased his skills as a national champion with the Wolverines, has garnered interest from the Ravens as well. Known for his quick feet, excellent vision, and ability to slither through holes, Corum could add a dynamic element to Baltimore's backfield. The connection between Corum and new Los Angeles Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, brother of Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh, adds another intriguing layer to the potential fit.

The Ravens have also shown interest in Estime, Holani, Irving, Laube, Lloyd, and Wright. Estime, a powerful 5-foot-11 player, expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of playing alongside Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Holani, a decisive runner with receiving capabilities, could serve as a potential third-down option on passing plays. Irving offers a dual threat as a pass-catching back, while Laube showcased his versatility and special teams prowess at the Senior Bowl. Lloyd displayed excellent vision and pass protection skills, making him an intriguing Day 3 prospect. Finally, Wright's breakaway speed and young age make him an enticing option if he is available in the later rounds.
