In a series of roster moves, the Los Angeles Rams have placed wide receiver Puka Nacua and offensive linemen Steve Avila and Joe Noteboom on Injured Reserve. To bolster their ranks, the team has signed offensive linemen Dylan McMahon and Geron Christian to the active roster, along with cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to the practice squad.

Nacua, Avila, and Noteboom have all been sidelined due to injuries. Nacua is dealing with a knee issue, while Avila and Noteboom are nursing knee and ankle injuries, respectively. Placing them on Injured Reserve allows the Rams to maximize their roster space and give these players the necessary time to recover.

In response to the vacancies, the Rams have enlisted the services of McMahon and Christian. McMahon, a sixth-round draft pick from North Carolina State, was most recently on the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams will be banking on his potential to make an impact on the offensive line.

Similarly, Christian brings a wealth of experience, having played in 58 career games over six NFL seasons. He has spent time with the Washington Commanders, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns. Christian was originally drafted by the Commanders in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Louisville.

As part of their ongoing efforts to fine-tune the roster, the Rams have also made a signing to their practice squad. They have added cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, who will provide depth and competition in the secondary. Witherspoon brings valuable playing experience, having previously been a member of the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams' active approach to roster management underscores their commitment to assembling a strong and reliable team. By bringing in McMahon, Christian, and Witherspoon, they hope to bolster their offensive line and secondary depth, ensuring that they have ample options to navigate an arduous NFL season.

As the Rams prepare for their upcoming games, the newly signed players will have an opportunity to prove themselves and make a positive impact on the team. Be sure to stay tuned for further updates on the Rams' roster as the season progresses.
