This stellar showing has shifted the team's priorities and reduced the urgency to address the running back position this year. However, the Rams are still on the lookout for a player who can provide support and spell Williams throughout the season.

With the NFL draft approaching, the Rams are expected to explore potential running back additions, primarily focusing on rounds 2 and 3, as the class is deemed less strong at the top end. Notably, it is highly unlikely that any team will select a running back in the first round, including the Rams. Nevertheless, there are several promising prospects whom the Rams could consider in the subsequent rounds.

In round 2, Jonathon Brooks from Texas emerges as the top running back option. Brooks showcased his skills with an impressive 1,425 scrimmage yards and 11 touchdowns last season.
