The decision comes after the conclusion of a five-day Lenten retreat at the Vatican residence, during which all regular activities were suspended from February 18 to February 23. The 87-year-old pope, who has been reducing his international travel following an abdominal surgery last June, had to cancel a trip to Dubai in December due to a bronchial infection. The Vatican confirmed that the Pope's Angelus address on Sunday remains scheduled, and no additional health updates are planned for Saturday. The Vatican did not disclose any further details about the nature of the mild flu condition that led to the cancellation of Pope Francis's audiences on Saturday.
