Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft and offensive lineman Zach Tom will both be out of action until at least the start of training camp due to pectoral injuries, according to Packers coach Matt LaFleur. Speaking on Tuesday, LaFleur stated that the injuries sustained by Kraft and Tom are still under recovery, and it remains unclear how the injuries occurred. Neither player participated in the recent OTAs, with Kraft seen wearing a sling on his arm.

LaFleur acknowledged Kraft's absence from the team, stating, "Yeah, Tuck is going to be out until training camp. Hopefully, he will be back by then, but if not, he should return early on. It's just one of those unfortunate deals, but he's on the Matt LaFleur plan." The coach confirmed that there is no long-term concern regarding Tom's injury and expressed hope for his return by training camp.

Interestingly, LaFleur himself is currently recovering from a torn pectoral muscle, which he suffered during an offseason bench pressing session. He emphasized that this string of pectoral injuries within the team is merely an unfortunate coincidence.

Last season, Tom proved his versatility by starting every game at right tackle. This year, the Packers have acquired former first-round pick Andre Dillard and 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan during the offseason, adding more depth to the offensive line. LaFleur commended Tom's abilities at right tackle and expressed confidence in his performance.

In addition to Kraft and Tom, running back Josh Jacobs is also dealing with a hamstring injury. He was limited to participating only in stretching exercises during Tuesday's practice.
