**Jordan Love's Injury Sparks Concern as Packers Edge Out Jaguars**
Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has expressed significant concern over Jordan Love's groin injury, which forced the quarterback to exit Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the second half. The injury occurred as Love was extending a play to his right during the first series and persisted throughout the game before he eventually left the field.
"Obviously, high level of concern," LaFleur stated. "He did it early in the first drive. I think everybody could see him struggling to move around. It got to a point, he didn't feel like he could protect himself, so we went with Malik."
Despite completing 14 of 22 passes for 196 yards and throwing one interception, Love was visibly hampered by the injury, struggling to move effectively before exiting after a third-quarter play. Malik Willis stepped in and led the team to two touchdown drives that put the Packers ahead.
Willis's performance included a crucial 51-yard completion to Jayden Reed, setting up the game-winning field goal after the Jaguars managed to tie the game at 27. Coach LaFleur was full of praise for Willis, saying, "Can't say enough great things about Malik Willis. The moment is never too big for him."
The victory marked the Packers' fourth consecutive win, improving their record to 6-2, while the Jaguars fell to 2-6, with four of their losses being by five or fewer points. "We knew this was going to be a battle," LaFleur commented.
As the Packers prepare to host the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions next Sunday at Lambeau Field, the focus now shifts to Love's recovery. Updates on his condition might be sparse until LaFleur addresses the media during his day-after press conference on Monday or possibly later in the week when the Packers release their first injury report for Week 9.
