After months of believing that a mysterious monster was lurking in her wall, a toddler in North Carolina has finally discovered the truth behind the strange noises. Ashley Class, the girl's mother, called in beekeeper Curtis Collins to investigate the source of the sounds coming from the wall near her daughter's closet in their century-old farmhouse.

Using a thermal camera in the toddler's room, Collins made a startling discovery a few weeks ago. He found a massive beehive weighing over 100 pounds inside the wall. Class described the thermal imaging as a Christmas-like sight, which initially startled her as she had initially believed it to be a "man in the wall."

Following the revelation, Collins embarked on a three-wave extraction effort that took several days to complete. The hive, housing more than 50,000 bees, was twice the size of any hive Collins had ever encountered before.

Class likened the extraction process to an apocalypse, with bees swarming out of the wall. Collins, however, also worked diligently to save the swarm and keep the hive intact. His efforts were captured by Class, who chronicled the situation on TikTok. Her videos depicted dead bees littering the ground, honey seeping from the ceiling, and various damages to the family's home. These videos quickly gained popularity, amassing over 9 million views.

While Class appreciates the importance of saving the bees, she is eager for them to be evicted from their home. Despite the frightful experience, her daughter seems to have already forgiven Collins. According to Class, the toddler has bestowed upon him a new nickname- "monster hunter," replacing his true title of "beekeeper."

The incident serves as a reminder of the unexpected surprises that can accompany living in an old farmhouse. Thanks to Collins, this North Carolina family can rest easy knowing that the monster in the wall was, in fact, an enormous beehive that has now been safely removed.
