**Week 9 NFL Injury Report: Key Players Sidelined**

Week 9 of the NFL season has kicked off, bringing with it a slew of significant injuries affecting various teams. With Sunday’s games in full swing and a prime-time showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs still to come on Monday night, the injury list continues to grow, impacting several high-profile players.

The Houston Texans have been hit hard as offensive lineman Kenyon Green suffered a season-ending shoulder injury during Thursday night’s game against New York. The Saints also faced a major setback with star wideout Chris Olave, who was carted off the field after a head injury in the first quarter of their game against the Panthers. Olave was taken to a hospital but has since been discharged with movement in all extremities.

The Atlanta Falcons saw wideout Drake London downgraded to out due to a hip injury he sustained in the first half. Defensive lineman Grady Jarrett also exited with an Achilles strain. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys dealt with a major blow as quarterback Dak Prescott left the game against the Falcons in the late stages due to a hamstring injury, with Cooper Rush stepping in as quarterback.

Several other players were also sidelined on Sunday. Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb sustained a shoulder injury but managed to return to the game. The Bengals faced woes with tight end Erick All Jr. suffering a right knee injury and defensive tackle B.J. Hill being ruled out due to a rib injury. The Raiders had offensive lineman Kolton Miller and corner Nate Hobbs leave the field with ankle injuries.

Additional injuries included Texans pass rusher Will Anderson Jr. and Titans offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry both dealing with ankle injuries. The Dolphins’ fullback Alec Ingold exited early with a calf issue, while Patriots safety Marte Mapu returned to the field after a neck injury.

Despite the numerous injuries, some players were able to return to play. For instance, Panthers receiver Xavier Legette came back after a hand injury. The league continues to experience the unfortunate reality of injury risks, underscoring the physical toll the game takes on its athletes each week.

As Week 9 progresses, teams are undoubtedly hoping to minimize the impact of these injuries while adjusting their lineups accordingly. The full consequence of this weekend’s injuries will become clearer as teams release updates on the status of their players.
