**Giants Face Major Setbacks with Injuries to Lawrence and Johnson**

The New York Giants are grappling with significant roster challenges after their recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys, where they suffered the blow of losing two key players. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, who was injured during Thursday's game, is anticipated to miss an extended period. Head coach Brian Daboll disclosed during a Friday press conference that Lawrence is expected to be absent for the “long-term.” Given that there are only five games left in the season, it appears unlikely that Lawrence will return to the field this year.

Lawrence has been a standout performer for the Giants, recording 44 tackles and achieving a career-high nine sacks in the first 12 games. His absence will undoubtedly be a substantial loss for the team’s defense, which relied heavily on his presence.

In addition to Lawrence's injury, tight end Theo Johnson is also facing the prospect of missing the remainder of the season. Johnson sustained a foot injury during the game against Dallas, further compounding the challenges the Giants will need to overcome in their bid to finish the season strong.

As the Giants adjust their strategies and look to other players to step up in these final weeks, the team's resilience and adaptability will be put to the test.
