Neil Young Cancels Remaining Tour Due to Illness
Rock legend Neil Young has announced the cancellation of the remainder of his Love Earth Tour due to illness. Young and his band, Crazy Horse, were scheduled to headline at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in Louisville in September, but will no longer be able to perform. The festival organizers have expressed their well wishes for Young's recovery and have promised to make a replacement announcement.
The Love Earth Tour had initially been postponed after Young and some members of his band fell ill following a show in Michigan back in May. Unfortunately, the 16-date tour has now been officially canceled. Young took to his website to apologize to his fans and share his disappointment. In his post, he acknowledged the incredible experiences and support they had received from the audiences throughout the tour.
Young expressed regret over the unplanned break in the tour, stating that they are still not fully recovered and require more time to regain their health. However, he assured fans that they would attempt to reschedule some of the missed shows in the future when they are ready to rock again. Young acknowledged the inconvenience caused to those who had made travel plans and thanked them for their understanding and patience. He emphasized that health is their top priority.
The announcement concluded with a heartfelt message from Young and the members of Crazy Horse, expressing their desire to continue performing and producing albums for their loyal fanbase. They expressed their gratitude and love for all their supporters and signed off as "Crazy Horse... Neil, Micah, Ralph, and Billy. Love Earth."
Fans and the music industry alike are sending their well wishes to Neil Young and his band members, hoping for their speedy recovery and eagerly anticipating their return to the stage.
