### Navigating Your Rights to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising

Sign up now to receive breaking news alerts directly in your inbox! In an age where online experiences are tailored through personal data, certain advertising partners might merge your information with other business data, enhancing targeted advertising efforts. This practice, as outlined in NBCUniversal's Privacy Policy, could be categorized as "selling" or "sharing/processing" personal data for targeted online ads, according to applicable laws.

If you reside in one of the states mentioned in the 'Your Rights' section of NBCUniversal's Privacy Policy, you have the option to opt out of this data sharing. It's important to understand that choices related to cookies and device identifiers are brand and platform-specific. Therefore, you must make your selection on each website or application you use, and for each browser or device.

Residents of the specified states can easily opt out of their personal data being used for targeted advertising by toggling off the option (turning it grey) and clicking "Confirm My Choice." This will close the dialogue box, but ensure you first open the email Opt-Out Form. If it’s detected that you’re not in one of these states, this option won’t apply even if the toggle is off.

Be aware, choosing to opt out means you'll still encounter ads, but they may not be as personalized or relevant. Preferences must be managed individually across all sites and apps used, and settings need to be renewed if cookies are cleared. Adjustments to precise geolocation permissions can be made in your mobile device settings.

For opting out from the use of your email and other associated personal information for targeted ads, complete the Opt-Out Form provided. More details are available in the Cookie Notice found under the Privacy Policy in the menu settings page.
