### Natalie Portman Not Surprised by Ex-Husband's Quick Move On, Focuses on Family and Friends
Natalie Portman reportedly remains unbothered by her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied's swift transition into a new relationship following their divorce. Sources close to the actress reveal that she anticipated his quick move, given the manner in which their marriage ended.
According to an insider speaking to Us Weekly, the "Black Swan" star was aware of Millepied's new romantic involvement shortly before the news became public. Despite the revelation, Portman is said to be unaffected by her ex's dating choices, focusing instead on her own happiness and cherishing the support of her family and friends.
Millepied, a French dancer, was seen publicly kissing an unknown woman in Paris, fueling speculation about his love life post-divorce. The couple's marital troubles captured widespread attention in June 2023 after reports emerged that Portman had discovered Millepied's affair with climate activist Camille Étienne earlier that March.
Although Millepied attempted to reconcile with Portman, the actress decided to part ways and filed for divorce in July 2023. The divorce was finalized in February, marking the end of their decade-long marriage. The couple shares two children, son Aleph, 13, and daughter Amalia, 7.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal in January, Portman hinted at the separation by mentioning her life in France with her children, notably omitting Millepied. By June, she expressed gratitude to her friends for their unwavering support on her 43rd birthday, underscoring her focus on personal well-being and family.
The representatives for both Portman and Millepied have not commented further on the matter.
