In a recent development, authorities have made several arrests linked to the shocking discovery of human body parts in a Long Island park last week. According to a source close to the investigation, multiple individuals have been taken into custody, although the exact number and charges remain undisclosed at this time.

As part of their ongoing efforts, homicide detectives conducted a search at a residence on Railroad Avenue in Amityville on Tuesday morning.

The location of the search is of significance, as it is situated approximately 15 minutes away from Southards Pond Park in Babylon Village, where six body parts were recovered. Additionally, state police confirmed processing another crime scene in Bethpage State Park, roughly 10 minutes away from Railroad Avenue, in relation to this case.

The initial discovery of a severed left arm was made by a student walking to school in Southards Pond Park on Thursday morning, prompting immediate police intervention.
