Authorities have confirmed that a red and white plaid blanket, belonging to Elijah Vue, the 3-year-old Wisconsin boy who has been missing for almost a month, has been discovered during the ongoing search for him. The blanket was found about 3.7 miles away from the area in Two Rivers where Vue was reported missing on February 20, as stated by the Two Rivers Police Department.

The investigation into Vue's disappearance has intensified, with authorities offering a $40,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and charge of those responsible for the toddler's vanishing. Vue went missing while under the care of his mother's boyfriend, Jesse Vang, according to a criminal complaint. Vang informed the police that he woke up from a nap to find Vue gone. He has since been charged with one count of being party to neglecting a child.

The toddler's mother, Katrina Baur, is also facing charges related to the case. She has been charged with four counts, including two counts of child neglect and two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer. Baur reportedly stated to the police that she left her son with Vang so that he could learn how to be a man.

The Two Rivers Police Department has been diligently conducting searches in wetlands, rural areas, the West Twin River, and a farm waste container. Authorities have been following up on numerous tips and leads, as well as reviewing extensive video footage with the assistance of the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Despite these efforts, Elijah Vue has not been found, leaving the search for the missing 3-year-old ongoing. The discovery of his blanket, however, provides a significant lead for investigators as they continue their efforts to locate him and bring justice to those responsible for his disappearance.
