**Tomlin Unfazed by Facing Former Receiver Johnson in Upcoming Steelers-Ravens Clash**
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin isn't overly concerned about coaching against his former wide receiver Diontae Johnson when Pittsburgh squares off against the Ravens on Sunday. During a media session, Tomlin acknowledged that he hasn’t devoted much focus to Johnson's potential impact, largely due to Johnson's limited role in Baltimore’s offense.
“To be frank, I haven’t given much thought to him,” Tomlin said. “He’s barely shown up in their videos, so at this stage of the week, I haven’t weighed his potential influence on the game yet. The Ravens have other, more critical players who demand my attention right now.”
Diontae Johnson, who spent his entire career with the Steelers before being traded to the Panthers in March, found himself with the Ravens after the Panthers moved him again before the trade deadline. In Baltimore, Johnson’s contributions have been minimal, with just one catch for six yards, making it understandable why Tomlin hasn't prioritized him in the game preparations.
However, Johnson is likely motivated to make a lasting impression on Sunday, potentially demonstrating to his former team that trading him away was a mistake.
