**Maya Henry Alleges Zayn Malik Threw Liam Payne “Up a Wall” in One Direction Backstage Altercation**

In recent revelations on social media, Maya Henry, who is Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée, has claimed that Zayn Malik was the One Direction member involved in an alleged physical altercation with Payne. Posting on TikTok, Henry responded to a fan video discussing speculation about which bandmate reportedly threw Payne up against a wall during a concert years ago.

"I see this all the time, everywhere," Henry stated in a duet video. "I've heard this insufferable story so many times, and he told me it was Zayn." Her video quickly garnered widespread attention, sparking mixed reactions among fans in the comments section. One enthusiastic fan remarked, "maya giving us the tea we've been waiting for," to which Henry intriguingly replied, "What's next."

Given the extensive attention her initial video received, Henry, 23, reaffirmed her claim in another nearly nine-minute TikTok posted over the weekend. She expressed frustration with the backlash she received, noting that Payne had previously divulged details about the incident during a podcast appearance. "I made a five-second TikTok about something [Liam] talked about on a podcast. He was the one airing out everyone's dirty laundry on a podcast, so it's OK for him to talk s-t, but the minute I make a five-second video, it's over right?" Henry argued.

Back in May 2022, Payne had discussed the altercation during his appearance on Logan Paul’s "Impaulsive" podcast. He revealed that he had a backstage argument with a bandmate who subsequently “threw him up a wall,” though he did not identify Malik by name at the time. Payne also touched on his complex friendship with Malik, stating, "There's many reasons why I dislike Zayn, and there's many reasons why I'll always, always be on his side."

One Direction, which was formed during their stint on "The X Factor" in 2010, included Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, along with Payne and Malik. The band enjoyed immense popularity but faced turbulence in 2015 when Malik decided to leave, and the group went on an indefinite hiatus the following year.
