**Eleven Hospitalized in York County After Consuming Wild Mushrooms**

In York County, Pennsylvania, eleven individuals, including children, were rushed to the hospital on Friday night after consuming wild mushrooms. This incident took place in Peach Bottom Township.

Emergency services received a distress call around 9:27 p.m. reporting a "mass casualty" situation at the 200 block of Burke Road. According to the Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company, upon arrival, ten patients were initially found at the scene. One more patient, a member of the affected Amish family, had ventured half a mile down Burke Road to locate a phone booth and contact emergency services.

The caller informed firefighters that he and ten others fell severely ill after eating wild mushrooms they had gathered from the woods for their meal. Emergency crews promptly brought him back to the initial location, and subsequently, all eleven patients were transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.

Despite the severity of the situation, the exact number of child patients remains unconfirmed. The firefighting team, supported by Pennsylvania State Police, managed the situation efficiently, spending just over an hour on site.
