" Currently in production in Ireland, the show will feature the Oscar and Grammy-winning artist in an undisclosed role.

Although the specifics of Gaga's character remain under wraps, her connection to the series isn't entirely new. Following the premiere of "Wednesday" in 2022, a remix of her song "Bloody Mary" paired with a dance scene featuring Jenna Ortega went viral on TikTok and other social media platforms.

In addition to Lady Gaga, season two is introducing several new faces to its ensemble cast. Notably, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor will appear as series regulars. Guest roles will include performances by Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O'Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo.

Gaga's recent projects include "Joker: Folie à Deux," alongside her impressive filmography that boasts "A Star is Born"—for which she won an Oscar for best original song and received a best actress nomination—as well as "House of Gucci" and two seasons of "American Horror Story."

The behind-the-scenes production of season two was teased in a Netflix video released in September. In this clip, Jenna Ortega, who plays the title character, tantalizingly remarked, "If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed and I'm not that generous."

Returning cast members for the new season include Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, as Wednesday Addams continues her eventful education at Nevermore Academy.

"Wednesday" has solidified itself as Netflix's most popular English-language TV series to date, capturing audiences with its darkly comedic and mysterious narrative. Creators Al Gough and Miles Millar, along with Tim Burton and other prominent executive producers, will continue to shape the direction of the series into its second season.

Entertainment Weekly first broke the news of Lady Gaga's exciting addition to the cast. Fans eagerly await further details as production progresses.
