Kris Jenner, in the recent Lifetime documentary "The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson," opened up about her last conversation with her friend before her tragic death in June 1994. The documentary, which aired on June 2, sheds new light on the friendship between Jenner and Brown Simpson, as well as the events leading up to her murder.

According to Jenner, her final conversation with Brown Simpson revolved around their mutual friend Faye Resnick, who had entered treatment after a relapse. Brown Simpson had made a schedule to ensure someone was there for Resnick every day. Jenner recalled, "So I remember it was Nicole's day, and Nicole and I spoke and she goes, 'No, Faye's having a good day, I'm leaving, your day's tomorrow.' That was the last time I spoke to her."

The shocking murder of Brown Simpson, aged 35, occurred on June 12, 1994, outside her home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Ron Goldman, Brown Simpson's acquaintance, was also fatally stabbed during the incident.

Jenner, now 68, discussed the impact of losing her friend in the documentary. She shared, "You never get over losing a friend that way... It's been 30 years, but I think I pack it down so far deep inside, you know?"

The documentary also delves into the infamous murder trial of Brown Simpson's ex-husband, O.J. Simpson, who was later charged with the murders of Brown Simpson and Goldman. Jenner's ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was one of the defense attorneys representing Simpson in the trial. Following the trial, Simpson was acquitted of the murder charges by the jury on October 3, 1995.

Tragically, Simpson's recent passing at the age of 76 due to cancer came as a shock to Brown Simpson's sisters. Dominique Brown, one of Brown Simpson's sisters, shared in an interview that they were unaware of the extent of his illness. She expressed the constant reminders of their loss, stating, "Every time there was something in the news, it impacted us. Constant reminders that she's not here anymore."

To honor Brown Simpson's memory and bring her story to light, her sisters participated in the Lifetime docuseries. Denise Brown expressed their desire to humanize Nicole and help people know her better. She emphasized, "We bought a bunch of friends together that had never spoken about Nicole. All new people."

The sisters hope that the documentary will provide new insights into their sister's life and remind the world of the person Nicole Brown Simpson was beyond the tragic events she experienced. Dominique Brown summed it up, stating, "New people, new stories, new memories. It all meshed really beautifully."

The documentary sheds light on a friendship tragically cut short by a horrific crime, and aims to keep Nicole Brown Simpson's memory alive while highlighting her impact on the lives of those who knew and loved her.
