**Raiders Face Browns Without Key Players in Week 4**
The Raiders will be without two of their star players, Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams, when they clash with the Browns on Sunday. Head coach Antonio Pierce confirmed in a Friday press conference that both players are among several who have been ruled out for Week 4.
Defensive end Maxx Crosby is sidelined with a high ankle sprain and missed practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. This injury marks the first time Crosby, who has played 86 consecutive games since being drafted in the fourth round in 2019, will miss a game. He has accumulated 3.0 sacks, five tackles for loss, and five quarterback hits so far this season.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Davante Adams sustained a hamstring injury during Thursday's practice. "No, I don’t know [a timeline], I just know he’s out for this week," said Pierce. "But he’s kind of like Maxx. You’ve got to give those guys week-to-week – really, day-to-day. You never know how they respond. They’ve been doing this a long time in their career. But I just know for this week, he’ll be out." Adams has been the team's leading receiver with 18 catches and 209 yards this season.
In addition to Crosby and Adams, the Raiders will also miss offensive tackle Thayer Munford (knee/ankle), linebacker Divine Deablo (oblique), cornerback Decamerion Richardson (hamstring), and tight end Michael Mayer (personal).
The absence of these key players will be felt as the Raiders aim to secure a victory against the Browns.
