### Kentucky Overpowers Clemson with a 16-4 Victory in the Clemson Regional

CLEMSON, S.C. - In a dominant performance on Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Kentucky routed No. 11 Clemson with a 16-4 victory in the Clemson Regional. This impressive win boosted the Wildcats' record to 31-25, while bringing a close to the Tigers' season, ending with a 45-18 record.

The game began on a high note for Clemson when Dominic Listi extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a single in the first inning. Jarren Purify took advantage of a wild pitch to score, and Collin Priest's RBI groundout subsequently doubled the lead, putting Clemson ahead 2-0 early in the game. However, Kentucky quickly responded with two runs in the bottom of the first, courtesy of a Carson Hansen single and an error on the play.

Kentucky began to pull away in the third inning, scoring five runs on two singles to take a commanding 7-2 lead. Clemson attempted to rally with a run in the top of the fourth inning on a wild pitch, but Kentucky answered decisively with six more runs in the bottom of the fourth.

The Wildcats continued their scoring spree with additional runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Clemson's effort included Cam Cannarella extending his hitting streak to 22 games with a single in the seventh inning. Dominic Listi, who set an ACC record by being hit by a pitch for the 30th time this season, also contributed by scoring during this frame.

Nate Harris (5-2) earned the win for Kentucky, delivering a solid performance over six innings, allowing six hits, three runs, and four walks while striking out seven. On the other side, Clemson's starter Talan Bell (0-2) was charged with the loss after Kentucky’s relentless offensive onslaught.

With Kentucky's decisive victory, the Wildcats now advance further in the tournament, leaving Clemson to look ahead to next season.
