### Kelly Rizzo Grateful for Dave Coulier's Support Amid His Battle with Cancer

Kelly Rizzo has expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support she has received from Dave Coulier and his family. Rizzo, the host of the Comfort Food podcast and widow of Full House star Bob Saget, opened up about her close relationship with Dave and his wife, Melissa Coulier, particularly in light of Dave's recent health struggles. Dave Coulier, also known for his role on Full House, was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a challenging journey that has brought the extended Full House family even closer.

In an exclusive conversation with E! News at the 11th Annual Reality TV Awards in Los Angeles on November 18, Rizzo shared how she had been in close contact with Melissa, who has been diligently updating her on Dave's treatments and progress. "I had known for a bit before it was announced. I had spoken to him," Rizzo said, emphasizing the significant emotional relief she felt upon hearing that Dave's cancer had not spread to his bone marrow.

The diagnosis, while grim, has witnessed an outpouring of support from Dave's colleagues and friends from the Full House cast, a testament to their enduring bond. Rizzo highlighted how the group has a long history of rallying around one another in tough times. "They're just always so supportive," she explained, reflecting on how the cast united to support Bob Saget and are now doing the same for Dave.

Previously, Dave Coulier had shared details of his diagnosis with a "very aggressive type of lymphoma," which was discovered just five weeks before he publicly discussed it. Speaking with Hoda Kotb on Today's show on November 13, Coulier recounted the harrowing experience, which included three surgeries, chemotherapy, and a noticeable hair loss. Despite these challenges, Coulier maintains a surprisingly positive outlook, stating, "I kind of look like a little baby bird now, but it has been a roller coaster ride for sure."

Dave's perspective on his condition is refreshingly pragmatic. He shared with Today.com how he has come to peace with the nature of his diagnosis, expressing gratitude for the incredible journey and extraordinary people in his life. "I told Melissa I don't know why, but I [am] OK with whatever the news [is] going to be no matter how devastating," he said. "I've had an incredible life. This has been an extraordinary journey, and I'm OK if this is the end of the journey."

Through this difficult time, Kelly Rizzo and the Full House family remain a tight-knit support system, exemplifying the enduring power of friendship and solidarity in the face of adversity.
