### Andy Reid Dismisses Concerns Over Travis Kelce's Slow Start

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are yet to experience defeat this season, as they aim for a historic third consecutive Super Bowl victory. However, the 34-year-old tight end's performance has been under scrutiny due to a slow statistical start, leading to questions about his offseason regimen and age.

Kelce candidly described his recent performances as subpar during his appearance on New Heights this week. He has managed just nine catches across three games, totaling 69 yards, and has yet to score a touchdown. Despite this, Patrick Mahomes vocally supported his teammate in a postgame press conference on Sunday night.

On Wednesday, it was head coach Andy Reid's turn to address the critics. "I know people are saying that he's old or that he has distractions, but defenses don't think that," Reid asserted to reporters. "Trav is fine. He just keeps being Trav. He works his tail off. He hasn't lost a step. He's not distracted."

Reid emphasized that opposing defenses still regard Kelce as a significant threat, "He collects people," Reid remarked, indicating that opponents are consistently devising strategies to neutralize him.

Kelce will have the opportunity to silence doubters and potentially boost his stats when the Chiefs face off against the Chargers in Los Angeles this Sunday.
