However, Ortega highlighted the joy and camaraderie on set, noting that the cast and crew celebrated reuniting and working on practical effects together. She also revealed that Winter River, the fictional town in Beetlejuice, was meticulously rebuilt in Vermont for filming, creating excitement among locals.

Ortega expressed her admiration for director Tim Burton's enthusiasm on set, mentioning that he was visibly delighted with the project. She shared that the atmosphere during filming was a mix of sentimentality, celebration, and dedication to bringing the beloved characters and story back to life.
