**Jedrick Wills Remains on the Bench as Browns Return from Bye Week**

The Cleveland Browns have resumed their season following their bye week, but left tackle Jedrick Wills has not reclaimed his starting position. In a surprising move, the Browns chose to continue with Dawand Jones at left tackle during their Week Nine game against the Chargers, a decision that resulted in a loss.

Wills had missed the previous game due to a knee injury, paving the way for Jones to start in his place. However, even after recovering, Wills was informed that he would not be returning to his former role. Head coach Kevin Stefanski communicated this decision to Wills in what the player described as "a quick conversation."

"It was pretty shocking," Wills shared with Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. He explained that he made a "business decision" to sit out after a game against the Bengals due to his injury, thinking it best not to aggravate it further. The shocking news came the following week, leaving Wills disappointed and frustrated as he watched from the sidelines.

Wills emphasized the need to be fully fit to perform effectively on the field, stating that playing at only "70% effort" while injured could worsen his condition. He assured that he would never withdraw from a game if he were sufficiently healthy. Despite his readiness to return, the Browns have shown no indication that they will change their current lineup, leaving Wills' future with the team in uncertain waters.
