**Wells Enterprises Recalls 18,000 Ice Cream Containers Over Plastic Contamination Fears**

Wells Enterprises, an ice cream manufacturer based in Le Mars, Iowa, has initiated a voluntary recall of almost 18,000 containers of their ice cream and frozen yogurt products. The recall stems from concerns that the products might contain pieces of plastic, according to recent information from the Food and Drug Administration.

The recall, which was announced last month, affects multiple well-known brands under Wells Enterprises, including Blue Bunny and Halo Top. The affected products are distributed nationwide and span 22 different flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt, all packaged in large 3-gallon containers.

Consumers are advised to check for "Best If Used By" dates ranging from March to October 2026. If you have any of these products, it is recommended to avoid consuming them to prevent any potential health risks associated with plastic contamination.

Further details about the recall can be found through the Food and Drug Administration's recent announcement.
