**Dozens Hospitalized After Food Poisoning Incident in Jessup**
On Monday, an unexpected wave of food poisoning struck a wholesale seafood distribution company in Howard County, Maryland, leading to dozens of hospitalizations. The incident occurred at North Atlantic Fish Company, located in the 7700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in the Jessup area.
According to county officials and the company, 46 adult employees were transported to hospitals. The apparent source of the food poisoning was home-cooked meals that an employee had brought into the workplace. Rescue teams arrived around 3:45 p.m. following reports of multiple individuals exhibiting symptoms of food poisoning.
