According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $64 million over three years. Clark is set to earn $29 million for the 2024 season.

This marks Clark's second extension with the Packers, as he previously signed one in 2020. The 28-year-old recently completed his third Pro Bowl campaign in the last five NFL seasons, showcasing his prowess as one of the league's top interior linemen. In the 2023 season, Clark recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks and 16 quarterback hits in 17 games played.

The Packers' decision to secure Clark's services for the long term highlights his importance to the team's recent playoff runs. His consistent availability over the past three seasons has been key to the defense's success. With new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley joining the team this offseason, Clark will have a fresh perspective to enhance his performance.

With Clark's contract extension finalized, the Packers can redirect their attention towards quarterback Jordan Love's long-term deal. Green Bay is keen on securing Love's extension before the season, as the quarterback market continues to rise with recent extensions signed by Jacksonville Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence and Detroit Lions' Jared Goff.

As training camp gets underway in Green Bay, Clark can now focus on preparing for the upcoming 2024 season without any concerns about his future. The Packers' commitment to Clark demonstrates their belief in his abilities and the integral role he plays in the team's defensive success.
