**Gabe Davis Visits Pittsburgh Steelers Amid Potential AFC North Move**
Wide receiver Gabe Davis is potentially lining up a future with the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Davis is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh on Wednesday for a visit with the Steelers planned for Thursday.
Davis, now 26, played with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, participating in 10 games before a significant injury. Despite the limited appearances, he managed to haul in 20 passes for 239 yards and scored two touchdowns. Unfortunately, his season was cut short due to a torn meniscus. Subsequently, the Jaguars released Davis last month.
The 2022 season marked Davis' most impressive performance to date, during which he made 48 receptions for 836 yards and seven touchdowns. This success followed a remarkable display in the 2021 postseason against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he captured eight passes for a whopping 201 yards and secured four touchdowns, although the Jaguars eventually lost 42-36 in overtime.
Throughout his 74-game career, Davis has accumulated 183 catches, amassed 2,969 yards, and recorded 29 touchdowns. His upcoming visit to Pittsburgh could signify a new chapter in his NFL journey, potentially bolstering the Steelers' receiving corps.
