Former major league pitcher Reyes Moronta tragically passed away at the age of 31 while driving his ATV home in the Dominican Republic on Sunday night. MLB insiders Mike Rodriguez and Héctor Gómez were the first to report his untimely death, which was later confirmed by Moronta's most recent team, the Bravos de León from the Mexican League.
Moronta, who played for the San Francisco Giants from 2017 to 2021, appeared in a total of 136 games during his time with the team.
