Federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) carried out search warrants at Sean "Diddy" Combs' Los Angeles and Miami properties on March 25 as part of an ongoing investigation, according to multiple law enforcement sources confirmed by NBC News.

The warrants, issued by the Southern District of New York, were executed with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners, as confirmed by a spokesperson for HSI New York to E! News. While Combs was reportedly in the Miami area at the time, he was neither detained nor arrested during the operation.

The investigation follows a series of civil lawsuits filed against the music mogul since November, accusing him of sexual assault. Combs has vehemently denied these allegations and vowed to fight to clear his name. His attorney, Aaron Dyer, criticized the use of "military-level force" during the execution of the search warrants, expressing concern about the treatment of Combs' children and employees.

Law enforcement sources revealed that phones were seized from Combs' Miami residence just before he was scheduled to travel to the Bahamas. Additionally, guns were discovered during the search, according to sources familiar with the matter. It was also reported that prosecutors and investigators from the Southern District of New York interviewed three women and one man regarding allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms allegedly connected to Combs.

In a separate development, Combs' associate Brendan Paul was arrested by the Miami-Dade police on the day of the raids on suspicion of drug possession. Paul was allegedly found in possession of suspected cocaine and suspected marijuana candy, as detailed in the Miami-Dade arrest affidavit. He was subsequently released on bond.

Paul's attorney, Brian Bieber, stated that they do not plan to address the case through the media and will instead address all issues in court.

Combs' legal team reiterated that there have been no findings of criminal or civil liability in relation to the allegations put forth by the civil lawsuits. They firmly maintain Combs' innocence and his dedication to clearing his name.

As the investigation continues, the public awaits further developments in this high-profile case involving one of the music industry's most prominent figures.
