In a shocking development, Sean "Diddy" Combs, the renowned rap music mogul, has become the subject of a federal investigation. This comes in the wake of multiple lawsuits that have been filed against him since November, relating to allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms.

According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, federal officials in Manhattan have conducted interviews with three women and a man. Three additional interviews are scheduled as part of the ongoing investigation. The interviews are believed to be connected to the serious allegations mentioned earlier.

Federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) wasted no time in executing search warrants at Combs' properties in Los Angeles and Miami. These actions were carried out as part of the investigation by the Southern District of New York. HSI confirmed the execution of these law enforcement actions in a statement, revealing that similar teams were deployed in Los Angeles and Miami as well.

Representatives for Combs, aged 54, have remained tight-lipped and are yet to comment on the federal investigation. This revelation follows public scrutiny of Combs' conduct after his former romantic partner, Cassie, accused him of physical and sexual abuse spanning several years. Cassie, real name Casandra Ventura, filed a lawsuit in New York under the New York Adult Survivors Act. The case was settled on undisclosed terms the day after it was filed.

Since Cassie's lawsuit, three other women have come forward with lawsuits in the Southern District of New York, alleging they were sexually assaulted by Combs. Shockingly, two of the victims claim to have been teenagers at the time of the assaults. Douglas Wigdor, who is representing Ventura and another Jane Doe, expressed hope that this investigation would hold Combs accountable for his alleged "depraved conduct."

One of Combs' accusers, Joi Dickerson-Neal, remains silent on the matter as her attorney declines to comment. Combs has categorically denied all sexual assault allegations, deeming them "sickening."

Adding to Combs' legal woes, a producer who worked for him between September 2022 and November 2023 filed a separate lawsuit in February. The ex-employee, Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, alleges that Combs sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him. Jones also claims to possess video and audio evidence of Combs and his team engaging in serious illegal activities. Jones' attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, who also represents Liza Gardner, one of Combs' other accusers, asserts that the federal investigation will not hinder their pursuit of justice.

Shawn Holley, attorney for Combs, vehemently denies Jones' allegations, confidently stating that they have overwhelming evidence proving that the claims are false.

It is worth noting that Combs has faced legal challenges in the past, although criminal charges have been rare. In 1999, he pleaded guilty to assaulting a record executive and received anger management counseling. The same year, Combs faced criminal possession of a weapon charges related to a shooting at a New York nightclub. While witnesses claimed to have seen him with a firearm, it was rapper Shyne (Moses Barrow) who was found guilty of the shooting, while Combs was acquitted of weapons and bribery charges.

The recent series of lawsuits and the federal investigation have drawn significant attention to Combs' behavior. As a result, he has stepped down from his position as the chairman of media network Revolt, and a planned reality series about his family was scaled back by Hulu.

As this high-profile investigation unfolds, the music industry and fans closely watch to see how the legal proceedings will impact Combs' career and reputation moving forward.
