In the latest episode of the "Calm Down" podcast hosted by Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, the Fox Sports NFL reporter couldn't help expressing her admiration for Celeste Desjardins, the fiancée of NHL player Leon Draisaitl. The compliments followed Draisaitl's recent signing of an impressive eight-year, $112 million contract extension with the Edmonton Oilers.

During the podcast, Andrews, who is known for her candid commentary, described Desjardins as "so hot" while discussing their girl crushes. Though Andrews admitted to never having met Draisaitl or Desjardins personally, she couldn't help but gush about the actress's beauty. Reflecting on the news of Draisaitl's lucrative contract, Andrews jokingly remarked, "Wow, he's rich and has a hot wife, what a life!"

Desjardins, a model who is also signed with Ford Models, took to her Instagram Story to show her support and love for her soon-to-be husband. Sharing a photo of herself and Draisaitl on the ice at Rogers Place, she expressed her pride in his achievements and looked forward to accompanying him on the next eight years of his hockey journey.

The contract extension comes as Draisaitl enters the final season of his current eight-year, $68 million deal with the Oilers, which he signed in August 2017. The 28-year-old forward will now earn an impressive $14 million per season, solidifying his place as a top player in the NHL.

Draisaitl and Desjardins' engagement was announced just last month, with the model expressing her joy and love for the hockey star on Instagram. The couple got engaged in Mallorca, Spain, with Desjardins sharing photos of the romantic proposal by the ocean.

Andrews and Thompson's podcast episode, titled "I Have a Girl Crush," also saw them discussing other notable wives in the world of sports, including Kylie Kelce, the wife of former Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce, and Hannah Jeter, a model and the wife of former MLB player Derek Jeter.

As Draisaitl continues to wow audiences with his on-ice performances, it's clear that his personal life is thriving as well, garnering praise from Andrews and his devoted fiancée, Desjardins. With an impressive contract extension and a beautiful partner by his side, Draisaitl's future with the Edmonton Oilers looks brighter than ever.
