### Daniel Jones Attracts Interest from Multiple NFL Teams After Giants Release

In the wake of being released by the New York Giants, quarterback Daniel Jones is garnering attention from several NFL franchises. Notably, the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings have been pinpointed as prime contenders for Jones, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Released just days ago, the 27-year-old quarterback's future is surrounded by speculation. While the Ravens and Vikings have emerged as strong candidates, they are not alone. Schefter highlighted that this week's games could significantly impact Jones' decision. In a supplementary report, Jay Glazer revealed on "Fox NFL Sunday" that as many as ten teams have shown interest in Jones.

Jones, who expressed a desire to join a playoff-bound team, could find suitable fits in both the Ravens and Vikings. Baltimore, led by star quarterback Lamar Jackson, has Josh Johnson as the current backup. Both the Ravens and Vikings are aiming for post-season action, holding second place in the AFC North and NFC North divisions, respectively.

With an expected waiver clearance on Monday, Jones’ final destination might be determined soon. Financially, his $12 million salary for the season is a significant factor, making it unlikely any team will claim him off waivers. Jones was in the second year of a four-year, $160 million contract when benched in favor of Tommy DeVito. Subsequently downgraded to fourth string, the Giants opted to release Jones.

Reflecting on his tumultuous time with the Giants, where he managed a 24-44-1 record and a single playoff appearance, Jones acknowledged the ups and downs. Despite this season’s struggles, marked by eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, he remains optimistic about his future. “I take full responsibility for my part in not bringing more wins. No one wanted to win those games worse than me. I gave everything I had," Jones stated. He also shared his belief in his potential, affirming, "I know that there is a lot of good football in front of me. I'm excited about that."
