**Record-Breaking Fan Engagement on Dancing with the Stars**

Since its debut in 2005, ABC's Dancing with the Stars has kept the voting figures under wraps—until now. With the new season bringing in notable personalities including two Olympic athletes and the controversial Anna Delvey, ABC reports unprecedented viewer engagement.

The September 24 episode marked a historic moment for the show, garnering over 14 million fan votes, the highest ever for a single episode. Viewers saw Anna Delvey, a convicted felon dubbed as a "fashionista," and Tori Spelling from Beverly Hills, 90210, exit the competition. This level of engagement surpasses even Season 12's peak in 2011, showcasing how much the fanbase remains invested.

Voting for favorite celebrities can be done via text or through dwtsvote.abc.com, with fans permitted to vote up to ten times per couple. "A record-breaking number of votes suggests our audience is incredibly passionate about this year's celebrities," says executive producer Conrad Green. The increased ratings reflect this enthusiasm, with a 47% rise in total viewers for the Season 33 premiere across all platforms.

After just two episodes, Dancing with the Stars shows a significant improvement in its ratings, averaging a 0.81 rating among adults aged 18-49, a 17% increase from the previous season. Green attributes this success to the current star-studded lineup, which includes Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher, Olympic pommel horse medalist Stephen Nedoroscik, NBA champion Dwight Howard, and Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks.

"This season's cast is not only talented but incredibly passionate, and it shows on live TV," Green states. He also highlights the show's unique ability to provide a sense of community and escapism during challenging times, noting the growing popularity among newer generations and its explosion on social media platforms like TikTok.

As Dancing with the Stars continues to capture the hearts of viewers both old and new, it proves that its blend of performance, personality, and positivity is a winning combination.
