**Cowboys Owner Expresses Concern Over Dak Prescott's Hamstring Injury**
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has publicly voiced his worries over quarterback Dak Prescott's hamstring injury. During an interview, Jones expressed his concern after witnessing Prescott's discomfort on the field. The injury occurred late in the third quarter, and Prescott was forced to leave the game after an incomplete pass on second-and-20. Despite his desire to continue playing, Prescott missed the entire fourth quarter.
Prescott is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury. Reflecting on the incident, Prescott admitted that the pain was unlike anything he had experienced before, making it even difficult for him to walk. However, he remains determined and indicated that it would take a significant obstacle for him to miss the upcoming game against the Eagles.
Jerry Jones also clarified that although Prescott's right hand was shown to be injured on Fox cameras, it is not a cause for concern. Before leaving the game, Prescott had strong statistics, completing 18-of-24 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown.
Backup quarterback Cooper Rush replaced Prescott, finishing with 13-of-25 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Jones praised Rush’s performance, noting his effectiveness under pressure. Despite Rush's commendable efforts, the Cowboys were defeated 27-21 by the Falcons. Rush's touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert and a successful two-point conversion to CeeDee Lamb brought the team closer, but the Falcons recovered the onside kick to seal their victory.
